TASTYBUS

As the word itself says, the Tastybus is a greedy bus that takes you to the places of production of some of the major products of the territory, with the possibility of choosing between a half-day tour and a full-day tour. With the half-day tour you will visit a factory that produce Parmigiano Reggiano and a Parma Ham factory. In addition to these two experiences with the whole day tour you can also visit an ancient vinegar factory and enjoy a light lunch with typical dishes and products.

LOWLANDER

Wednesdays and Fridays are dedicated to the Bassa Parmense (Lowlands) and to its excellent food and wine. In this strip of land bathed by the Po, you will see how Parmigiano Reggiano is made, you will be inebriated by the scent and flavor of the Culatello di Zibello in its maturing cellars, you will taste local wine in a cellar and finally you can treat yourself to some shopping at Fidenza Village.

HIGHLANDER

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are dedicated to the Apennines of the Parma area, the “Highlands”. On the hills of our territory, where the sea wind gives Parma Ham its unmistakable flavor, you can visit the places of production of Parmigiano Reggiano, balsamic vinegar and Parma Ham, tasting them directly where they are born.

For those who prefer to stay in the city, on Saturday afternoons, Parma City of Gastronomy offers two proposals that combine food and culture:

APERITIVO INSOLITO

The light of the sunset gives the city a special charm. And at this particular moment, we take you to take an aperitif: after the guided walk through squares and symbolic places of Parma, a tasty aperitif with typical local products and wines is waiting for you.

PARMA DOLCE SWEET TOUR

A walk in the company of Maria Luigia of Austria, the Duchess so loved by the Parmesans. The tour, on foot, will touch the places of the city linked to the history of the duchy of Maria Luigia with gluttonous stages to taste the desserts that the Duchess loved and that she had brought from Paris.

Not just walking or minibus tours: two other Parma City of Gastronomy proposals satisfy sport lovers and food lovers.

TASTYBIKE

From Monday to Saturday the appointment for those who love sports is in Piazza Garibaldi to join the Tastybike. From Parma you can take a minibus to the hills of the Apennines: from here you can set off on an easy e-bike excursion (electric bicycles) which ends with a tasting of wines and typical products in a local winery.

TASTYCOOK

Is putting your hands in dough your passion? Then Tastycook is the experience for you. From Monday to Friday you can learn the secrets of Parmesan cooking by preparing fresh pasta and tortelli, a symbol of our tradition, following the recipes and advice of a local chef. And finally, the dishes prepared during the lesson are tasted in company, accompanied by a good glass of wine.
