The DOC wines “colli di Parma” are produced on the hills that surround the city: an area that is distinguished by its strong wine-producing vocation and its favourable geology and climate.
The DOC “Colli di Parma Rosso” is a red wine with a distinct personality and intense ruby colour, a lingering aroma and a full-bodied texture. Its flavour strengthens with time, tending towards robust.
The wine is made of Barbera and Bonarda grapes. its taste is dry, harmonious, savoury and pairs beautifully with roasted or braised meat, with Parmigiano-Reggiano and, most of all, with “bollito”, a typical dish of Parma made with mixed boiled meats.
