Malvasia di Candia, from which Malvasia Colli di Parma CDO is obtained, grows in the hills of Parma, and especially in the area of Maiatico, in the Baganza valley and Arola, in val Parma, on the slopes that surround the extraordinary Torrechiara Castle (from “torchiara”, village of the winepresses).
Dry or sweet, still or sparkling, with an aromatic and pleasant aroma and harmonious taste, Malvasia Colli di Parma CDO is a white wine with a low alcohol content (10.5 %), ideal for accompanying light appetizers and vegetable dishes.
The sweet version of Malvasia is perfect for fruit-based desserts. The dry one is great when paired with Prosciutto di Parma, Culatello di Zibello and Salame Felino.
