The B&B La Ca ‘Torta is located half an hour by car from Parma, in an ancient village, obtained from a 1600 farmhouse is immersed in the quiet of the hills for a relaxing stay.

Obtained from the careful renovation of an old farmhouse dating back to 1600, the B&B La Ca ‘Torta has 1 double bedroom, 1 twin (or double) room, 1 single room, 2 bathrooms with shower and relaxation lounge and full fitted kitchen. The ancient walls have been preserved, where possible, with exposed stone and have not been deliberately straightened (hence the name “La ca ‘Torta” literally the crooked house), respecting the originality that distinguishes them, while the floors are rebuilt with exposed beams and tiles.

The position, on the first hills of the Enza valley from the Parma side, makes connections with Parma and the plain comfortable and fast. In half an hour by car you can reach the center of Parma or Reggio Emilia, in fifteen minutes the beautiful castles in the area such as Torrechiara, Canossa or Rossena and the provincial park of Monte Fuso with the wildlife oasis. Just further up you reach the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine National Park which includes the Cento Laghi Park and the Pietra di Bismantova.

Bicycle enthusiasts will have the opportunity to try the many itineraries already present in our hills and to discover new ones, both for MTB and road bikes. In both cases our hills are very suitable for cycling, because there are many roads with little traffic and full of changes in slope and there are also many tracks and paths for MTB and trekking enthusiasts.
