The savory pies of the territory are not to be missed: herb, rice, potatoes, fresh pasta, such as tortelli d’erbetta, pumpkin and potatoes, anolini, in oil, jams and desserts, including the famous “Spongata della Dea”. Another product of excellence is the mushrooms, omnipresent in Valtarese cuisine. The recipe for mushrooms in oil by Le Bontà di Camisa dates back to 1895: it is the recipe of the grandfather “Gerbin”, simple but able to enhance to the maximum the unique taste of porcini mushrooms of the valley, strictly hand-picked in the woods.
