The Museum of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese was established within the Corte Castellazzi, in the farmstead used for centuries for its production, in the shadow of the Rocca Meli Lupi di Soragna. Here you can find more than 120 objects dating from the nineteenth and the first half of the twentieth century and about a hundred drawings and period photographs that illustrate the evolution of the techniques of milk processing, maturing and marketing stages, and the key role of the Consortium of Parmigiano Reggiano in protecting its quality.
