The Tomato Museum, housed in a medieval agro-food processing centre, tells the long history of this “exotic” product that arrived in this territory from America, deeply marking the economic development. The objects and the documents displayed here describe the evolution of production and industrial technology, from processing to preservation, and they raise the curtain on the culture of ‘Tomato World’ with advertising, quotes, paintings, sculptures and recipes.
