A few meters from the river Po, in the winter mists, while all around Culatello, king of salami, is produced, for 70 years Faled has been distilling with passion and skill the different types of grape pomace from the noble grapes of the surrounding hills.
The pomace of Lambrusco, Malvasia, Moscato, Gutturnio, Fortana, Fogarina and Barbera find new life as they are transformed into superlative grappas.
The poetry continues with the grappas aged in casks or barrels – poured into a glass, they release historic flavours.
And then the traditional liqueurs obtained from fruit: Nocino, Bargnolino, Sburlonn and many others.
