Officina del Gusto is a culinary lab-studio which offers the best traditional home made products of Parmesan Appennino area.
Lorenza, the owner, prepares dishes that have been handed down by mother Giuliana and grandmother Adele following tradition’s recipes.
Among the specialities you will find mixed pickled vegetables, mostarda, preserves and ancient fruits’ marmalade, but also fried tarts ( traditional squared pieces of fried dough ), fresh pasta and stuffed pasta as cappelletti, tortelli with wild herbs, potatoes or pumpkin. Second courses as pork “ganassini” ( braised pork cheek ) and traditional patisserie. Furthermore you can find the best selection of local coldcuts.
Take away products available every day in the laboratory in Mussatico or in the local fairs where the Officina is always present; dishes for restaurants and caterings are also available on request.
