Elisabetta Ivaldi a touristic guide prepose this tour: “The gourmet tour introduces you to the “Three Kings” of the cuisine of Emilia. From the King of Cheeses, Parmigiano Reggiano, to the “King of Cold Cuts”, Prosciutto di Parma, with a touch of the “exotic”, a detour just outside the province, to season these two Kings with a royal delicacy, the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia.
The tour starts early in the morning: first stage is the Caseificio where we will see the “birth” of the King of Cheese. After that we will visit the Acetaia and we will end with the establishment of production of Prosciutto di Parma.”
