Giorgio Genovese, expert guide of the National Mountain Bike Academy, offers his experience and knowledge for guided itineraries in the Valtaro territory (the valley of Taro river in the province of Parma), through mountains, woods, rivers and natural oases. This experience will repay the bikers’ efforts with must-see glimpses and landscapes in close contact with nature. The guide suggests two itineraries: a first and more simple one is dedicated to beginners and non expert bikers, while a second one is more suitable for expert and trained participants. Both the itineraries include a lunch break in a typical “trattoria” or mountain refuge in order to taste the specialties of the valley, such as the “Pegai” (a traditional pasta made with chestnut flour and walnut sauce) and the “torta fritta” (fried dough) with cold cuts.
